The effects of climate change are escalating. Some regions, like South Asia and the Pacific region, the Middle East, the Sahelian Belt, Southern Africa and Central America, are more vulnerable than others. Floods, hurricanes, tsunamis and slides can devastate regions, leaving some communities with less access to emergency medical care. In the first 72 hours, emergency support for those affected is our biggest priority, and accessing hard-to-reach communities can be a challenge.
This kit contains lifesaving medical supplies that are vital for our teams to quickly and effectively provide emergency care for these communities. Access to medical supplies, manual resuscitators and other support items are invaluable to MSF teams responding to medical emergencies.

HIV Antiretrovirals
Average price of first-line antiretroviral therapy for adults for one year: $58.
Over 38 million people are living with HIV worldwide, the majority of them in sub-Saharan Africa. While there is no cure, a combination of drugs known as antiretrovirals (ARVs) enable people living with HIV to live longer and healthier lives if taken regularly. But not everyone around the world has access to treatment.
In Central African Republic (CAR), many communities have extremely limited access to HIV/AIDS diagnosis and care, especially those in rural and conflict affected areas. Lifesaving ARVs are widely unavailable or unaffordable for people across the country. Patients must sometimes travel for days to reach a hospital or clinic, only to find them out of stock.
Give this gift and help MSF provide people living with HIV critical ARV treatment.
$55
Safe Water Kit
Help MSF support communities in safeguarding their water supply and help stop the spread of water-borne disease.
$50
Contraceptives
$50 can provide 1,150 condoms to help prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections, increase people’s reproductive choices and prevent injury or even death.
Providing people with access to contraceptives is a key component of MSF’s sexual and reproductive health services. Contraceptives help prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections, increase people’s reproductive choices and prevent injury or even death. But during humanitarian emergencies, these essential items can be out-of-reach for many communities.
Years of ongoing conflict in Central African Republic (CAR) has left the healthcare system in ruins. The country’s maternal mortality rate is the second highest globally. One of the biggest ways to reduce pregnancy-related deaths is through prevention of pregnancy, but access to sexual and reproductive health services is extremely limited in CAR. Facilities that do exist lack available contraceptives that can be distributed to communities.
Give this gift to help MSF support people’s health and wellbeing.
